DIEGO RODRIGUEZ national player dies of an accident mobilistico

Diego Rodriguez, National player suffered a terrible car accident last Thursday in the Rambla de Montevideo and this morning died of serious wounds.


Doctors had said his condition was critical and was never optimistic about his recovery.

Last Thursday, the 22-year-old had suffered an accident in Montevideo. Transferred to the Spanish Association hospital where he had to undergo surgery on the skull.


Victor Soria, one of the doctors who treated him had said a day earlier that "we can not say that is what will happen in the future, but the prognosis is not good."


The clash occurred between the player's vehicle and another, of Montevideo, near the center of the city.
