The story of the "Titanic" :
It was 13:30 pm on thursday, april, 11, 1912. The 1455 Titanic passengers waving their handkerchiefs cheerfully. Manned by 903 men under the command of capitan Edward J. Smith, the safest and most luxurious ship known, slowly separating the docks of queenstown (ireland) on her maiden voyage to New York.
Considered unsinkable, was the highest (52 310 tonnes and a heihht of 11 floors)
 mobile wit ever built by man.
Three days later the magnificent mansion moving at 23 knots floating on the frigid North Atlantic waters.
At 23:40 on sunday april 14, the lookout in the crow`s nest bell sighted an iceberg, about 450mts the front.
Only 37 seconds after the ice opened a gap of 75 mts. length in her starboard  side below the waterline.
Two hours and forty minutes later, the ship disappeared beneath the icy waters, taking with it 1503 people.
The story of Titanic has fascinatedmillions of people. His tragedy was due to an exess of hubris and arrogance of man, which marked that time called " La Belle Epoque".
